Thermo Haircut

Natural hair is versatile and can be twisted, curled, coiled and braided into many different styles, any excessive manipulation can result in a major damage to the hair.

The use of electrically-heated scissors is a relatively new evolution in haircutting technology. The idea is that these heated blades help to seal the cut end of the hair and prevent the potential loss of moisture and splitting of the cut ends of the hair.

They are, in fact, less damaging. Unlike traditional scissors, which open the cuticle and leave the hair susceptible to environmental stress that can cause frizz and dryness, the heat from the hot scissors seals the end of the hair to trap in moisture and protect the hair from damage. This keeps the cut looking fresh for weeks, but it won't cure split ends for good—you still have to be consistent with regular haircuts.

Hot scissors work best on fine, frizzy hair because they smooth ragged ends, making hair look and feel more voluminous. They're also a good option for people not willing to sacrifice their length to repair damage.
